Julius Baer take snow polo in Chapelco.
The snowy polo grounds looked wonderful since early in the morning. Polo players, special guests, and sponsors were ready for the final of the II Argentina Snow Polo Cup, in which Julius Baer defeated Nissan.
Julius Baer took a 3-2 win over Nissan to obtain the Julius Baer Cup. The winner's best player, Martin Garrahan, who scored five goals on the previous day, added two more in the final. Martin led the offensive work of this team. Nissan had Santiago Garrahan, who was presented with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Award as the best amateur player.
In the qualifying games, played on Saturday, Nissan defeated Jaeger-LeCoultre 7-5, while Julius Baer edeged Provincia de Buenos Aires 7-2.
The Subsidiary Provincia de Buenos Aires Cup, went to Provincia de Buenos Aires Polo Team, after defeating Jaeger-LeCoultre 4-2. The winner's best player, Diego Araya commanded the defensive job, and scored three goals.
Meanwhile, in the VIP marquee, guests cooperated with Fundación Puentes de Luz, a charity that gives support to seriously disabled people as well as support to their families. The profits will go to build a refuge in San Martin de los Andes.
Julius Baer and Jaeger-LeCoultre host for the second straight year, the Americas' most important snow polo competition, and the only snow polo event that's played outside the circuit in Europe that's included in the World Polo Tour.
